Munrolock Sales and Lettings

As of April 6th, there are new rules concerning Energy Performance Certificates.

All properties marketed for either Sales and Lettings will need to have one before they can go live. This part is the same as it has always been, however now, there must be a one page sheet attached to the particulars, both online and hard copies.

We are not sure exactly what this one sheet will have to have yet, however, in our opinion, considering nobody ever asks to see the epc’s, or has turned down a property because of the epc, it’s a waste of time, money and paper.

Whislt the government have pushed for many things to be done electronically, here is an example of them creating more paper waste, for something that 95% of people are disinterested in.
